“Golden light between two clouds.”
When I woke up from an afternoon nap on Friday I awoke to
one the best sunsets I have ever witnessed in my life. The amount of contrast between
the lights and darks is just epic. While the clouds in the upper left corner give
an amazing three dimensional effect. I love looking at this photo because I love
the way my eyes travel through the picture. The fog on the tree level and the clouds
in the sky creates a barrier. These constraints the light colors to the middle
and the colors reflect off the fog to the upper clouds creating a mystical effect.
I also like how every object has a “dark” side to it as a result of the sun
being at such a low angle. The bottom half is dark and the top half is just
flooded with bright and smooth vibrant colors.
